Nina Edwards, RMT
Nina completed her training from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in August,
2001. This three-year program included the therapeutic use of soft tissue manipulation,
hydrotherapy and remedial exercise.
Nina has gained a wide variety of experience through treating many health-related
issues including: postural imBalances, soft tissue injury such as whiplash or sprains;
women’s health issues such as pregnancy and breast massage, chronic conditions
such as fibromyalgia, asthma and arthritis.
To promote healing, she uses many techniques including trigger point release, Swedish
massage, myofascial release, joint mobilization and craniosacral. She also provides
education and remedial exercise for her clients, as she believes that it is important
for them to participate in the healing process.
Nina enjoys working at Balance, where she helps people to become proactive with
their healthcare. Her enthusiasm inspires her to continue learning so that she can
do her best to help her clients on the road to a quick recovery and a better quality
of life.
